Donations

• The Adlith Brown Memorial Scholarship (US$1,000.00) is made annually in memory of Adlith Brown, author and former lecturer at the University of the West Indies (UWI).  The scholarship is awarded to a student majoring in economics at UWI.  We partner with the UWI Office of Financial Aid, which provides invaluable assistance during the selection process.  Eligible students must meet criteria established by LBSF.

LBSF has supported 15 students  with scholarships ranging from $250 - $1,000.

• The "Foster Care Aged Out" Book Grant Project (US$250.00).  This is a new program established in 2011 to support college students who age out of  Foster Care pograms in Washington DC.  Several awards will be made each year, as resources allow.
